I have access to a Nikon Super Coolscan 4000 and spent all last night playing with it. My dad sent me a selection of slides to try out. They are from the 1960s to the 1980s and locations include Mt St Helens, Paris, Texas, Southwest USA, and Mexico.

The scanner did great, I just need to work on trying to get the dust off the slides and the scanner. It also does 35mm film negatives and I’m going to try to find my good Europe picture negatives from 1994 to scan. Click on the mosaic to be taken to flickr for bigger pictures.

I spent all night on this last night and didn’t even think about wardrobe refashioning! I need to put the slides away, my clothes are falling off me (I’ve lost 19.5 pounds as of today! Yay!)
